The Privacy Policy and The Cookies Policy is to all users of the Website, including clients, tutors and guests and references in the terms to you or your are to you, the user of the Website, whether you are a client, tutor or guest.

You are consenting to such processing and use, and you warrant that all data you provided is accurate, correct and up to date. What and How does WinClass collect information

When you use the WinClass Website, you are submitting information when interacting or navigating the website and the activity associated with this use are collected by us.

We also collect details regarding your browser type and your IP address (a unique address that identifies your computer on the Internet), your device ID, your physical location, your operating system type and referring URLs and the way you visit our Website including, but not limited to how long, how often and which sections of the site you most frequently visit, via tracking technologies such as cookies. This data may be shared with our partners and prospective advertisers to provide them with information relating to how our visitors use the Website. We may also collect information about you through analysing your actions with electronic communications we send to you periodically, including your opening of such communications and clicking on included links. Through the registration process and account setting, you must provide us with your own, your child/children or your parent’s name, date of birth, contact number, postal address, email address, hometown, and other information that may be requested during the registration process. For tutors, you also need to provide your Working With Children Check (WWCC), your ABN, your photo and other related information about your education background, qualification, skills and experience as it relates to tutoring quality. You may provide your information by phone, post, email, filling the forms of our Company or in person.

Tutors may attend an interview with us. We will treat any personal data shared with us during interviews in accordance with this policy.

We may require you to provide us with your financial information to authorise or process payment and bill you or pay you for our services. These details include for tutors: your nominated band account, your invoices, and your payment history, and for clients/students your payment history and payment card details.

When you book tutoring services via our Website (if you are a Client/Parent) or when you receive payment for delivering tutoring services via the Website (if you are a tutor), we will pass your financial or personal information to those parties necessary to process your transactions with us such as credit card companies and banks.

When you use the Website and the services of WinClass, you may submit information and content to your profile, generate activity data through engaging in educational activities, or send messages and otherwise transmit information to other users. We store this information so that we can provide you more efficient service and offer personalised features.

Recording and Class Playback

When you use the Website, the Platform, WinClass Online Classroom and the service of WinClass, you must provide access to your computer’s webcam and microphone. We will use them to record you during the entire lesson (Class Playback). We store recorded lessons for quality assurance purposes, to review the tutors’ teaching, for training purposes, for reasons of safety and child welfare, and for participants to revise previous classes. The storage period for the recording on our server is 30 days, or state by us otherwise.

Cookies

Our website uses cookie technology. Date related to your activity on our Website will be tracked by cookies. We store certain information from your browser using cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. If you do not want information collected through use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allow you to deny or accept the cookie feature; however, you should note that cookies may be necessary to provide you certain features available on the Website.

How does WinClass use the collected information

Updating or deleting your personal information

You have all the right to delete your account with our Company by following the instructions available through our website. After your account is deleted, we will retain aggregate or anonymous data collected through our Website and service, including Activity Data, which may be used by our Company for training and record purposes.

Our Company has implemented administrative and technical safeguards it believes are sufficient to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your Testing ID, User Photo, access credentials, and WinClass results. However, we believe that a determined attacker with sufficient resources could defeat those safeguards and may, as a result, gain access to the information we seek to protect.

Do not track

The Website is not designed to respond to “do not track” signals sent by some browsers.

Language

This agreement was originally written in English (AU). To the extent any translated version of this agreement conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
